Rob began his career in the trades studying plumbing at Delcastle Vo-Tech High School. Following graduation he continued his formal training and went on to pursue a 4 year Delaware State Apprenticeship while working for one of the largest Mechanical Contractors in the tri-state area based out of Lititz PA. There he traveled with the company for 5 years working on multi-million dollar projects from Scranton PA to Trenton New Jersey and to Baltimore Maryland advancing from plumber apprentice to project foreman. In 1987 Rob’s brother, John Sobieski, asked Rob to partner with him and his vision to become a leader in mechanical contracting in the region.

After joining together with John he continued his education by attending multiple trade- related courses such as Associated Builders and Contractors Supervisory Training Clemson University courses in Project Management, Del-Tech Community College for OSHA Safety Training and has also received specialized training from PHCC along with continuous training classes in the Mechanical Trades and Business Management. Having three decades of experience and continuing to support John in the vision and future of Sobieski, he focuses his time on the Principals of Lean Production and Continuous Improvement for Fabrication and Supply Chain Management as well as the overall management of all physical company assets. In addition Rob oversees all Risk Management activities in support of all business units for the Sobieski Companies.
