Safety Training for Every Employee Hired
Each new
field employee is required to have his or her OSHA 10 training completed as
a condition of employment. They are also required to periodically take an OHSA "4-hour refresher" course to keep
their safety skills and awareness up to date. Every employee who is
authorized to drive a company vehicle is required to have taken a Defensive
Driver Training course as a condition of employment. Further, all new
employees attend a full day of company orientation. This orientation is used to explain
all of the unique facets of our businesses and includes an in depth two-hour
segment on our basic safety, health, and environmental rules and procedures and how they apply to
our employees, our worksites, our office, and our customers. We communicate J. F. Sobieski, Inc.'s expectations of each employee for a successful safety, health and environmental program.
