Dupont OPD-1 Building
This job was unique for Radius/Sobieski Services in two ways. First, it was the biggest job to date that the company had handled and second, it was very complex because of the biotech facility's many laboratories performing plain and agricultural research.
Another unique aspect of the project was that many different trades were working on the facility at the same time, which meant that time sequencing was of the essence and there was no margin for unexpected errors that could cause a delay. Since there was no room for storage of materials at the site, the on-time delivery of each material needed to be precise, so installation of that material could occur immediately. It was the proficiency of scheduling and teamwork that moved the project along. The outstanding coordination and teamwork allowed Radius/Sobieski Services to stay on top or ahead of the work and remain cost-effective.
